Steve Appointed to Chairman of the Association Finance Board
Steve was appointed to take over the Chairmanship of the Party’s Association Finance Board following the retirement of Brian Hamill in July of 2013. This Board has the responsibility of collecting the finances from the Associations of the Party and loans made by associations to the centre. All monies collected are used for campaigning purposes only and not for party administration. Board Members are the Regional Deputy Chairman with the responsibility for Finance.
Steve says: “I am honoured to be appointed to this vital important position within the Party, being a past member of the Board I understand not only its importance but the hard work it demands from its members. I relish the challenges that this role brings and look forward to working with our Board Members and the associations across the United Kingdom”.
